Who is Zach Bryan?

Rising country music star Zach Bryan is the definition of artistic excellence. From serving in the Navy to topping music charts effortlessly, he gradually leaves a mark in the music industry by adding a modern alternative touch to country music. After serving his country for eight years, Zach fully transitioned into music in 2021. By November 2023, in addition to all his other accolades, he left the Billboard Music Awards with 4 trophies.

Where is Zach Bryan From?

Although he spent most of his childhood in America, Zach Bryan was born in Okinawa, Japan, on April 2, 1996. The country star was born in Japan because his parents were Navy officers stationed there.

So where was Zach Bryan raised? He was based in Okinawa, Japan until eighth grade and his family then moved to Oologah, Oklahoma, which is generally known to be where Zach grew up.

In the Bryan family, serving in the army was a family tradition that had gone on for multiple generations. His great-grandfather, grandfather, and uncles all served in the US Navy at some point. His parents were actively serving in the Navy when he was born, so he was raised as a Navy brat.

Bryan did not break this family tradition because he joined the Navy as a 17-year-old and rose to the Aviation Ordnance-man Second Class rating.

Where was Zach Bryan stationed in the navy? He was an aviation ordnanceman stationed in Washington.

So why was Zach Bryan honorably discharged? Is Zach Bryan still in the navy? In 2021, he announced that he had been honorably discharged from the Navy to focus on his music after being signed to Warner Music, and his career has been on an upward trajectory ever since.

When it comes to relationships, Zach Bryan has been in and out of a few relationships since his music career took.

In 2020, the country music star got married to Rose Madden, who was believed to have been serving in the military as well, but the couple got a divorce in 2021.

Zach also dated Debra Peifer at some point, but on May 31, 2023, he told his followers on X that he and Debra had gone their separate ways.

On July 28, 2023, it was reveled that he was in a relationship with Brianna LaPaglia (Briana Chickenfry) on the social media star’s own podcast, PlanBri Uncut.

Bryan started song writing at the tender age of 14, and continued writing his music for personal enjoyment upon joining the Navy. Later on, his friends began recording him and posted videos on Twitter and YouTube for his growing fanbase to enjoy. On one of these posts, he sang, “Heading South,” which quickly went viral.

Zach’s blend of rock, folk, and country music appeals to many American listeners, allowing him to churn out hit after hit. The country star’s biggest hit, “Something in the Orange,” climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs. The song also reached first place on the Billboard Alternative Songs and the Hot Rock charts. Zach also won the Academy of Country Music Award for New Male Artist of the Year in 2023.
