The backstage behind Jon Batiste is an epitome of hope that Black Americans still have the talent and perks for handling diverse musical instruments. Born on the 11th day of November 1986, the American artist is imbibed with streamlined vocals. As a little boy, the keyboardist and guitarist grew up writing and composing songs and, at the same interval, taking lessons in playing multiple instruments.

Jon Batiste has excelled as a band leader.  The New Orleans citizen has also taken the status of a host for many Television shows, even before making his mark in his songs with Lana Del Rey, Stevie Wonder, and Ed Sheeran.

With these achievements and many more in the bag, it doesn't come as a surprise that Jon is the current artistic director of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem. The 37-year-old hip-hop singer also chairs the office of the Musical Director for The Atlantic.
