The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Opened: December 15, 2010

Location: 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109 US

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is often found in the same sentence as luxury and sophistication. Built in 2010 and located on the west side of the Las Vegas Strip, the 5-star hotel comes with a little bit of everything and is a complete attraction for different kinds of guests and personalities. From premium accommodation to luxurious dining to peak entertainment, The Cosmopolitan has established itself as one of the most iconic properties on the Las Vegas Strip, standing out from The Bellagio, CityCenter, and the Eiffel Tower Replica at Paris Las Vegas, which are all prominent properties located on the strip.

The property was developed by Ian Bruce Eichner and initially owned and operated by the Deutsche Bank. It continued to be operated by the Deutsche Bank until 2014 when it was acquired by The Blackstone Group, a global investment firm. This subsisted until 2022 when The Cosmopolitan was acquired by MGM Resorts. Although ownership and operation have changed hands since the resort’s opening, the reputation remains the same: The Cosmopolitan stands out. Containing a staggering number of 3027 rooms, along with an extensive collection of clubs, bars and restaurants, the hotel establishes itself in true Las Vegas fashion, giving its guests a chance to lose themselves and find themselves again in its many attractions.

Events at The Cosmopolitan

The Cosmopolitan offers several event venues dedicated to different occasions ranging from concerts to corporate events to conferences to DJ Live events to wedding parties and receptions.

Some of these venues have featured memorable performances from music industry giants like Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga, and unique events like the BleauLive concert series which is a special arrangement giving guests the opportunity to experience intimate sets performed by their favorite artists in a private setting.

The resort is known for its variety when it comes to entertainment. Not only does it aim to please, it also upholds the cultural climate through targeted events like exhibitions and festivals.

The Chelsea is one of the event spaces within the hotel. It is a dedicated venue that accommodates large-scale concerts and performances while The Boulevard Pool is an outdoor venue that is known for its stunning views. It is a prime spot for warmer seasons, often used for concerts and pool parties. While these two venues are some of the hotel’s most popular spaces, the Marquee Club is also widely famous for its special events featuring DJ performances and live shows by top artists.
